Cocaine is God’s way of saying you’re making too much money.

Robin Williams (I am not sure how is this inspiring, tho)

To be a great champion you must believe you are the best. If you’re not, pretend you are.

The only thing I don’t like about this quote is the way they sourced it.
She spells her name all small letters.

So the world is supposed to be ending tomorrow huh? That’s bad. I never have found out who let the dogs out, the way to get to Sesame Street, why Dora doesn’t just use Google maps, why we don’t ever see the headline “Psychic Wins Lottery”, why women can’t put on mascara with their mouth closed, why “abbreviated” is such a long word, why lemon juice is made with artificial flavor yet dishwashing liquid is made with real lemons, why they sterilize the needle for lethal injections, why do you have to “put your two cents in” but it’s only a “penny for your thoughts”? Where’s that extra penny going to? If a deaf person has to go to court is it still called a hearing? Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane? Does the alphabet song and twinkle twinkle little star have the same tune? Why did you just try to sing those two previous songs? And just what is Victoria’s secret? You see, the world just has to keep going. I have too many questions.

Someone, somewhere on Facebook.

Like all poor, Negro and white, they have many unwanted children. This is a cruel evil they urgently need to control. There is scarcely anything more tragic in human life than a child who is not wanted… Negroes were once bred by slave owners to be sold as merchandise. They do not welcome any solution which involves population breeding as a weapon. They are instinctively sympathetic to all who offer methods that will improve their lives and offer them fair opportunity to develop and advance as all other people in our society.

Life isn’t fair. That’s the bad news and the good news. When I say this, I didn’t said it to be cruel, I say it it because it’s the plain truth. Life awards the most creative people, not the person who plays by the given rules. Some people may think of these people as ‘sell outs’, but that’s the price they are paying. Once you pay a price and you get what you want, you may think you’ll finally get a chance to change the rules. You’ll have to do something even more unfair to be a game changer. So, use that to your advantage… wither they like it or not.

People asking why I always said “Life isn’t fair; that’s the bad news and the good news”

The current U.S. national security strategy defines terrorism as simply “premeditated, politically motivated violence against innocents.”12 This definition, however, begs the question of who is innocent and by what standards is innocence determined. The U.S. firebombing of Japanese cities in 1945 certainly terrified their inhabitants, many of whom were women and children who had nothing to do with Japan’s war effort. And what about threatened as opposed to actual violence? Is not the inducement of fear a major object of terrorism, and is not threatened action a way of inducing fear? Is not the very threat of terrorist attack terrorism?

Here’s a hint of irony. He works for an Army War College.

Educated Guys…

Hawk: Why not just let them obliterate each other? If people can’t control their own country, they don’t deserve to have one.

Dove: Way to oversimplify. These folks live in poverty. And when you have so little, it’s easy to be swayed into blaming your neighbor. Almost all aggression can be cured with education.

Hawk: Yeah? Then how come some of the best educated guys in the world work at the Pentagon?

- Justice League, Episode: Hawk and Dove. Hawk and Dove were debating about two (fictional) countries that are at war with each other.

Ever read the “Odyssey”? After Odysseus was caught by the cyclops, he told it his name was “Nobody”. So when he poked its eye out and its friends asked who did it, all the cyclops could say was “nobody”.

- Batman - Justice Legue “Only a Dream”

Never underestimate anyone.

We were kids without fathers…so we found our fathers on wax and on the streets and in history, and in a way, that was a gift. We got to pick and choose the ancestors who would inspire the world we were going to make for ourselves…Our fathers were gone, usually because they just bounced, but we took their old records and used them to build something fresh.

He was Filipino! Solve your dilemma of what part of the world my ass traveled too!?!?

The last line of this trailer… I laughed so damn hard.

I have nothing now but praise for my life. I’m not unhappy. I cry a lot because I miss people. They die and I can’t stop them. They leave me and I love them more. … What I dread is the isolation. … There are so many beautiful things in the world which I will have to leave when I die, but I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready.

Cosigned on the dotted line.

I’m making an effort to avoid doing this on my next album.  Many of the songs on it address relationships, but in ways that hopefully illustrate what I’ve learned from them, as opposed to what others have done to me in them.  I don’t want anyone who has dated me to listen to my music and feel attacked (anymore).

And the same people will make press releases about it. I know. I seen one of my ex’s actually did it.
