I’m reposting this one last time. If no one bites, I’ll just make random mixtape covers. I just like to use “real world” examples of people who would be happy with my work instead of just doing it just to do it. So, if you’re interested in “Free artwork” that features “you” on a mixtape (that will be used on a portfolio, not on an actual mixtape. You can keep it and show it off, or use it as an icon. Whatever you want.). Just think of it as practice for me.

So, the idea, once again, goes as follows…
As of late, I wanna do mixtapes covers. For money.
Sadly, some people wanna see some examples. So, even thought I can design flyers, web sites and such, they need examples of mixtape covers?
Okay… so, guess what? Since I got 90+ Followers…
I’m going to give 5 of you custom “mixtape” covers… for free! I can hear whatcha saying… “But I don’t have a mixtape!” Doesn’t matter! They have to be “examples” of Mixtapes, not actual mixtapes!
“But Nukirk, what if I have an actual mixtape?” Well… it’s an actual mixtape cover for you then! (But you might wanna read the rules below before committing…)
So, what you have to do to get a free “mixtape” cover? Simple… go to my “Ask” with the answer to the following questions…
- Your favorite artist (note that it’s singular)
- 2 favorite colors
- A Theme (what would your mixtape be about?)
- What would be your recording name? (Or tell me your actual name)
The five people I pick that answers all the questions will be published with the actual mixtape graphic after it’s done!
You’ll have to submit an image of you when I ask back (answer me back privately). Could be as many as you want. (Links to the images would be best) You might want to submit your “good pictures” (you know, cell phone pictures are good, but they don’t bring out your eyeshadow sometimes. That would make you sad, right?). Just no nudes. Not because I don’t want it, but more because… well… I tend to be PG-13 on my blog. (Sit yo ass down if you’re looking for me to cuss ya mutha…)
Now, here’s the rub…
- You agree that I may finish this within my own time frame. (it could be 1 day to 2 weeks. Other words, don’t beg. I do have to do things that pays the bills.)
- You agree to let me use the work in my actual portfolio. (That’s the point of this exercise after all.)
- Do you have control over the design? Not totally. But if you answer the questions, it will influence the design of the mixtape. (that’s why you have to answer the questions)
- The final images are yours to command… except for the removal of it off my portfolio.
- If this is an actual mixtape… maybe you should pay me to have control over the art direction. I am… wild.
